Dr. Arti Parikh-Patel, PhD, MPH has over 20 years of experience working as an epidemiologist in various government, non-profit, and academic settings. She is the Program Director of the California Cancer Reporting and Epidemiologic Surveillance (CalCARES) Program in the Institute for Population Health Improvement. Her research focuses on evaluating race/ethnic and socioeconomic disparities in cancer diagnosis, treatment and survival. Additional interests include using cancer registry and other population-based data sources to inform public health policy and quality improvement in cancer care.
